I remember watching the Vic's Market video Gnardo At The Docks a while back and being like who is this. I kept seeing Gnardo footage and just wondering where he came from. Well now Gnardo is around here all the time. He never is without a smile, his camera and some wild idea. It's refreshing. He rolls with the Vic's Market crew up in Everett. If I was to say they had a photographer it would be Gnardo. These shots are from last summer mostly between skating and going to the beach. With the Vic's Market video on the way this year I wonder if their going to crack the whip and spend less time having fun and at the beach. I really doubt it. So here is a glimpse into the lives of both Gnardo and the Vic's Market crew. You will being seeing much more of them.

Here's a photo of Russian George for Pic Of The Week! It's a FS Blunt Transfer Dowtown Everett. You should have seen the hero that wanted to fight at this spot. He told us to wait right there while he went into the homeless shelter to gather up a posse. Needless to say, he didn't return!

Our friend Maly and photographer Holly Ann Banton took a few product shots of the Manik and Goods Haiti relief shirts. Still a few left at both Seattle and Bellevue Good locations. Remember all proceeds go to help the effort in Haiti. You should check out UltraMaly also to see what else these two have been up to.

This is a month old but I totally forgot to post it! Our buddy Shane Auckland "sk8rat" is seen here at The Berrics representing Washington and his hometown "Snohomish" with Steve Berra. It's cool to see a Washington local doin' it big down in L.A. SNO-HOME-ISH FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Daniel Hager has submitted some more pics for Pic Of the Week. Here's a pic of Beau Martin busting a big 'ol Backside Flip in Bremerton. It looks like these guys are doing a pretty job of making their own scene and killing it!

Manik and Goods got some shirts together to try and help with the efforts in getting aid to Haiti. All proceeds go to the relief effort. If you can't make it to Goods to pick up a shirt you can help by texting 'YELE" TO 501501. It will donate $5.00 and charge you on your cell phone bill. The proceeds go to yele.org who is organizing much of the flow of aid to the country. If you're in New York or Miami there are huge drop off centers to take some of the items they need. A list of items can be found on Wyclef's Blog Page. Also rumor has it that UPS is shipping boxes less than 50lbs to Haiti for free. I would check with them first though.

This is our homie Edu Lopes straight outta Sao Paulo, Brazil. Here he is getting smithy at this indoor ramp in some crazy part of the city. Thanks again to Edu and all his homies for showing us around on our recent trip. As you can see he's one of the Uprise Skateshop homies too!

This is one of our flow riders from the East Coast who goes by the name of Justin Damer. He skates for our homies over at Elite Skate Shop and has definitely been killing it lately. Here he is demonstrating a proper noseblunt in the heart of our nation's capital.

Chris Jameson is definitely on the up and up these days. I like this picture because he's riding a Manik Board and he's backlipping a rail that isn't even bolted down! Come through to the All City Showdown Premiere on Tuesday the 22nd at Chop Suey and let's see how he held up against the other 32 skaters! Photo: Daniel Hager

Today "POTW" stands for "Photographer of the Week". Daniel Hager sent in a few photos and I couldn't wait 'til next week to post them. It's been a minute since we've seen a good pic of Robo Repp. Anybody else out there shooting photos in this harsh winter weather should submit also! Thanks Daniel!

Today's Pic of the Week goes out to Sean Harris with a long Smith Grind. Unfortunately my Pocket Wizard burnt out this day making it a "one flash photo" but it's the speed and style of Sean's Smith that makes it the POTW. Sean's part in BEWARE OF SASQUATCH or ALL CITY SHOWDOWN are two of the most highly anticipated video parts in Washington History. Stay Tuned!

Somebody dropped off a large pile of old Thrashers at 35th North the other day and I found a 1987 copy with a Fallout Records and Skateboards ad with me (Marshall) doing a boardslide in the U-District 22 years ago. That was my 15 seconds of fame that I've managed to surf off of for a minute now.
12/05/2009
Today's Pic of the Week goes out to none other than Brandon Jensen with a Pole Jam in Puyallup. I bet you didn't know the guy behind the lens of BEWARE OF SASQUATCH could actually risk his nuts too now did you?

Get your dirty little hands on the newest issue of Color Magzine and check out the Seattle City Feature. Creighton Barret from Band of Horses lists his favorite spots in the city and Brayden Olson shoots photos and writes the intro. It's at Goods!
SEATTLE, WA
"Seattle is a really big, small city with some quality humans doing radical things. The air is clean, the girls are babes, and a good chunk of the music on your iPod is from there. The skate scene is tight, hosting some of the most talented shredders that have ever graced a skateboard, the art scene is bangin’ and everyone keeps it weird. Most of the photos you are looking at are from some very radical art shows and parties over the last few years. Local artist NKO and his Free Sheep Foundation organize these speakeasy-type art venues with bands, booze, beautiful girls and, of course, completely mind blowing art. Usually the events take place in buildings that have a set date for demolition, and when the element of destruction is in the mix, things can get completely out of control. To get you non-Seattleites hip we’ve enlisted Creighton Barret from Band of Horses to compile a list of the best things in the Emerald City. If you want the golden ticket to Seattle take note! Tear out this page and glue it to your forehead, because this list is so perfectly righteous!"
